A lot has happened in the past few months. We were lucky to have Leah's Nana stay with us while I went back to work from April to June. Several of my friends have gotten pregnant and have had babies, so Leah has many new friends, and my parents got a house in Rehobeth, Delaware, where Leah loves spending time with my family and in the pool and ocean. She swims under water with the fattest frog legs I have ever seen. Leah now eats solid food three times a day although she prefers fruit. She has outgrown her crying for anyone other than the three people she sees most and outgrown her first carseat, although the doctor still maintains that she is "thriving" at 20 pounds in 7 months! She rolls front and back all over the floor and is showing her first signs of rocking back and forth to crawl. The girl cannot keep quiet from her loud singing, but manages to get in a dada or baba. She sleeps like a rockstar, makes us work for a smile and laugh, cut her first tooth, but most of all keeps us happier than we ever thought we could be. Hope your summer is as incredible as ours!
Ok, so my sister Jenny started the site for me until I learned how to have a life with a baby. It is amazing. Leah is wonderful at 3 months and adapts real well wherever I take her or when visitors come to see her. She always smiles for Daddy and is starting to giggle and talk. We're working on rolling over. Now that she's baptized, I look forward to my last few quiet weeks with her before I have to go back to work:( At least it will bring some sunshine to my life during this dark and cold season. Hope she brings sunshine to your day too:)

omg and ithought sarge was spoiled!!!!!!!!!can get a web site for sarge????n p - uncle mark
Leah caught her first cold and was snortin and snottin for most of the week:( Totally not her fault, as Aunt Jenny and Mommy were breathing on her most of the Holiday! She's a champ though and managed to happily tag along with Mommy for a dinner at Champps and a visit to Upper Merion! Her sleep habits cannot be discussed out loud for fear of ruining the (let's just say grrrrrreat) momentum! She is smiling a lot now and really loves to "talk" and stare at her favorite toys...bugs and bees! The bee mobile in her crib tends to get a ton of cute photo ops for some reason:)
We are calming down after the Holiday and are waiting for some snow and, of course, for the Giants to win tomorrow! Grandmom and Aunt Jenny came last night for a sleepover so Mom and Dad could go get holy and prepare for Leah's Baptism:) Grandmom is not much of a "sleepover" person, so it was a great surprise to see her walk through the door! Aunt Jenny...well, she's just a stalker who loves her niece:P
Our Christmas was extra special this year! We traveled to NY to see Brian's family from Mon-Wed, where we got to introduce Leah to lots of people:) It's always nice to see his brothers, Granparents, and friends light up when they see us...and especially when they are around the baby! We then spent Christmas Eve at Jenny's and Christmas Day at my Mom's. It was fun to watch Kenzie and Emma open their stash and to enjoy the Holiday with the whole family. Leah, of course, also made out like a bandit, taking in nothing short of a small store of clothing and other fun stuff! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family! Brian and I can't believe that it has been 3 years since Brian proposed (Christmastime of 2005) and can only imagine how quickly this next year with Leah will go! Next year we will be telling you all how she ate half the tree and broke 90% of the ornaments:P But for now, we will bask in her cuteness and thank God she is healthy and growing like a weed!
Merry Christmas to all of our Friends and Family and may your 2009 be happy and healthy!
