Hi Braden! Sorry I haven't sent you a note in SO long! Did you go Trick-or-Treating? If so, what did you dress up as? I actually didn't get any Halloween candy this year (maybe a good thing)!!
Ryan is back in IL right now trying to hang on to some Republican House seats while I work back here in Alexandria. Am crossing my fingers for some good results on Tuesday. That's Ryan's 30th birthday too so hopefully he will not have any bad news that day!
Whatever happens in the election, we're going on vacation the next day---to Italy! I will tell all the Italian toddlers "Ciao" from you.

What's new with you??? What are you doing for your daddy's birthday Sunday??? Grandma is preparing for her REALLY big event next Saturday, July 26. It is the state-wide kick-off of the Stephen Douglas - Abe Lincoln Senate debates. There will be two re-enactors, Civil War soldiers, afternoon tea, Bement Story play, etc.

Little Braden, I had so much fun with you last weekend! You are so charming and handsome - like a little prince!
It was so beautiful when you couldn't stop kissing me goodbye when you had to leave. You even had to kiss that fake deer goodbye too- so sweet!

Do your pappa and mama sit you down in front of the computer every night and read you the latest updates to your guestbook as some strange new-age version of a bedtime story.
