April 18, 2009 Today Grandma and Grandpa Richter visited and Landon showed off his joy by taking his first step, the a few more and by Sunday he was not happy unless he was trying to take steps. We are so proud of him and he is so excited that he cannot sit for long without getting back up on his feet. 13 Months old and he is finally walking!!!

March 7, 2009 Today we went to Short Cuts, a kid salon and Landon got his first haircut. It started out a little rocky and some tears were present, but by the end he could not quit smiling. It was hard seeing him officially become a big boy.

February 14, 2009 Today we celebrated Landon's 1st Valentines day, this is his last 1st holiday since he will be 1 year old this month. We also got to celebrate that he now has two more teeth coming in which will be a total of 4 now. We expect he will be walking anyday now. He is such a good baby

November 23, 2008 Today was Landon's first big tub bath, and what is a bath without a big sissy to hold your hand and help you stay afloat. He had such a good time splashing around. they are all growing so fast and we just cannot be proud enough of all of them.

October 26, 2008 Today we went to the Louisville Zoo to do our 2nd round of trick or treating so far this year and it is not even Halloween. Yesterday we went to Fright Fest at Six Flag while daddy went to the game. We had a really good weekend, and we cannot wait for you to see the kids in thier costumes this year, they are going to all look simply adorable and we are so excited to share these moments as they go by so fast. We have updated videos on the family page.

October 19, 2008 Today We took the whole family to Hubers Orchard and enjoyed the day eating, sliding, petting the animals and picking out the perfect pumpkin. We had a really good day and it was so much fun watching the kids have such a wonderful time, even little Landon got to enjoy a nice tractor ride and pumpkin just his size! We look forward to posting the kids decorate thier pumpkins as well1

September 28, 2008 Ashlyn asked to go to the potty at the mall and she actually went potty in the kids toliet in the family restroom. We are so proud!

September 19, 2008 Landon had surgery for the first time today at Kosair Children's Hospital. They were able to remove the cyst from his head without any complications. He is doing great. He is such a wonderful baby.

September 5, 2008 Landon and Ashlyn spent their very first night in a tent, as big sis, mom and dad all went on a family campimg trip with grandma, grandaddy, Keith Dean, Robert and friends. We had a wonderful time and Ashlyn even got to drive a boat. Landon went home with Daddy on Saturday so Landon could meet his Aunt Lora for the very first time. It was a great weekend.

August 22, 2008 Landon had an appointment to meet with a pediatric surgeon today to start the process of removing the cyst on his head that he was born with. He has been scheduled for a CT scan on Tuesday to be sure the cyst is not attached to the scalp which we have no reason to believe it is, once we recieve the results he will be scheduled for the procedure. We are confident he will be fine and have no reason to believe this is anything to worry about but would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for our baby boy during this time.

August 2, 2008 Landon met Aunt Sandra and Uncle Ronnie for the very first time and was made into an official vols fan.

July 24, 2008 Landon had his check up and now weighs 13lbs 4oz. He is getting so big and so fast. He talks all of the time, and loves to smile and laugh. We are so happy, and could not have asked for a better boy.

June 28, 2008 We went to meet Ann and Brennan at the mall today and decided to get a quick picture of Landon on his 4 month birthday. Ashlyn decided mommy was not going to get pictures of Landon unless Ashlyn got to get her pictures as well, she danced around the whole time acting silly and ended up with some of her cutest pictures.

June 2, 2008 I returned to Adecco today and Landon started his first day at Westport Road Baptist Church Childcare. They said he did really well and bragged about what a good and adorable baby he was today. It was a very difficult morning but I checked in every 2 hours and he was able to visit Ashlyn for a bit. I got a wonderful smile when I picked him up later in the day. Ashlyn will be moving to the next room in the next few weeks in which they will help us with potty training.

May 24, 2008 Ashlyn got her very first live pet today. She was very excited and she picked it out all on her own, she even picked out her own plant to go with him. she is growing up so quick. She had a musical program at daycare earlier this week and she just looked at everyone the entire time refusing to sing at all. I would have loved to have read her mind, she is so smart and does not miss a thing. Landon is frequently laughing out loud these days and is talking more and more and Brice is going to be an 8th grader! We are so blessed!
