12/22/04 Golden and Carrie Crews have fallen hopelessly in love with their little angel, Peyton. He arrived by C-section on December 22, 2004! He was 7 lb. 14 oz. and 19 inches long. We were pleased to bring him home on Christmas day - our perfect Christmas present! He is amazing to watch as each day he is learning, laughing, and loving our attentions. He is a miracle! . 12/22/05 Hard to believe that Peyton is now RUNNING around the house! He's very smart, considerate, and well behaved (most of the time)! We are very blessed! . 12/22/06 Peyton is speaking in English and Spanish, showing his strong will (although we have NO idea where he got that from!), and learning so much every day. It is amazing to see his brain soaking up so much! . 12/22/07 Peyton is developing amazingly fast! He potty trained quickly and is looking forward to going to the "Back House" (the house at school for the potty trained 3-6 year olds) and joining his new class. . 12/22/08 Peyton had his first Birthday Party. We went to McDonald's with a PlaySpace. Even though we had reservations that were confirmed and payed for in advance, none of the personnel were there to facilitate, there was no cake, and noone was ready to feed a bunch of kids! Daddy ran to get a cake and "talked to" the manager, and Mommy luckily brought games and a helium tank with balloons that could be decorated with stickers.
05/16/2007 - Golden took Peyton on the large super slide at the fair. Peyton loved it so much, as soon as they were at the bottom, he jumped up, ran to the stairs, pushed past the ticket-taker, and started up to the top again! Peyton also had his first real rollercoaster ride. 05/05/2007 - Peyton's first PowWow. Peyton's first big curly slide (10 feet high). 04/18/2007 - Peyton said, "ABC's!" when he saw the title of a TV show that uses the entire screen. 03/26/2007 - Peyton called Carrie "Mom." 03/20/2007 - Peyton told Carrie and Golden, "Open you mouf," and used a flashlight to inspect. "You tongue," followed with, "Ahhh." Then he reported to Golden, "Oooh, big mouth," as the sad diagnosis of his issues.
He is ALL boy and SOOOO tall ! The little baby is all gone. Love the "active" pictures ! Keep feeding him his veggies,so he keeps growing tall and strong ! Peyton is so precious and has such a sweet spirit He introduced Bubbe Z to Cars and Over The Hedge and Air Buds movies We had a delightful visit with this little family. Golden and Carrie certainly know how to dress Peyton! Peyton's outfit for Halloween was too cute for words. Thank you Carrie and Golden for the wonderful photos!
