02/15/2008 - Peyton said, "Mommy, you look beautiful," when I walked out this morning to go to work.
05/16/2007 - Golden took Peyton on the large super slide at the fair. Peyton loved it so much, as soon as they were at the bottom, he jumped up, ran to the stairs, pushed past the ticket-taker, and started up to the top again!
Peyton also had his first real rollercoaster ride.

Peyton's first big curly slide (10 feet high).
04/18/2007 - Peyton said, "ABC's!" when he saw the title of a TV show that uses the entire screen.
03/26/2007 - Peyton called Carrie "Mom."
03/20/2007 - Peyton told Carrie and Golden, "Open you mouf," and used a flashlight to inspect. "You tongue," followed with, "Ahhh." Then he reported to Golden, "Oooh, big mouth," as the sad diagnosis of his issues.
03/10/2007 - Peyton asked, "Are you my friend?"
03/08/2007 - Carrie and Peyton were shopping. Peyton wanted a toy, and Carrie asked him, "Where's your money?" Peyton responded, "In your purse!"
03/06/2007 - Carrie laid Peyton on the counter of the bathroom in Carrow's to change him. As it was near the faucet, Peyton asked to have water in his eyes. He has really remembered this!
02/20/2007 - Peyton asked to have water in his eyes. He is not nearly as traumatized as Carrie is about flushing his eyes out!
02/19/2007 - Peyton sprayed Clorox Cleanup in his eye as he was looking down the nozzle. Carrie rushed him to the bathroom, turned him on his head, held him under the faucet and ran water in his eyes to flush it out.
02/15/2007 - Peyton unlocked the thumblatch.
02/14/2007 - Peyton locked the thumb latch on the bathroom door!
02/06/2007 - Peyton's first vitamin - Flintstone, of course!
Peyton said, "I love you, too!"
01/24/2007 - Peyton has 3 more molars!
01/22/2007 - Peyton said, "Two minutes," to delay Carrie.
01/10/2007 - Peyton climbed into his carseat by himself.
01/03/2007 - Peyton has top right molar #2.
12/30/2006 - Peyton started his "Why?" period. We were on the way home from LAX after a visit in OH. He asked if we were going to Bubby's house. Carrie said, "No, Honey, we're not." Peyton asked, "Why?" Carried responded, "Because she lives in Ohio, and we live in California." Peyton pressed, "Why?" Carrie persisted, "Because Mommy and Daddy have good jobs here that lets us get you clothes, food, and toys." Peyton was satisfied. "Oh," he said thoughtfully.
12/22/2006 - Peyton is 2!
Peyton said, "Good job!" and put his thumbs up Fonzi style.
