I have decided to grow my hair long like my dad!
2/25/2011 - Sorry it has been so long since we update the website. Our computer died and we had no pictures to upload. We finally got some new pictures added on our computer so mommy added some new pics. Everything is going very well. I am doing great in VPK. Mommy and Daddy say I am super smart and stong and I prove them right everyday. We will update more often. Stay tuned...XOXO
Hello! Everything is great and nothing new is really happening. I am about 44 inches tall and about 46 pounds. I am a big boy and I am very into learning! I love reading and I can "read" Hop on Pop and Are You My Mother by Dr. Seuss. I can write my name along with the rest of the alphabet and I am really good at the sounds the letters make. My Mommy says I will be reading in no time. I am still a total boy and I always have bruises on my legs because I am constantly running into things. We will keep you updated with new things. Lots of Love.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I had a GREAT night! I actually stayed up until midnight with my Grandma and Papa and we made SO much noise with the horns and then we went outside and watched the fireworks! Grandma said I was such an angel! I am looking forward to 2010 and everything the year has to offer. Take care!
10/1/09 - So my Mom said "shame on her" it has been WAY too long since she has updated my website. She said she will update more often!! Well, it is October 1st and it is my birthday month. I will be 4 at the end of this month and Mommy says she can't belive I am already 4. I am such a BIG boy!! I am over 43' and I weigh about 44 pounds. I am learning new stuff everyday. I am working on recognizing letters and spelling. I know how to write my name and I can name letters and numbers by looking at them. I also know the days of the week. I certainly push my luck all the time and I am always trying to see what I can get away with!! But I am a growing boy!! Mommy and Daddy are thankful that I have not had any stiches or broken bones!! Everything is great and I am hoping that Mommy and Daddy will give me a brother or sister soon! We will see about that!! We will post some more pictures after Halloween. 11/12/08 - It is true... I am now 3 years old!! I had an awesome time! As you all know, the day after my birthday is Halloween. So I got to put on my Spongebob Squarepants costume and walk around the neighborhood and knock on doors and yell "TRICK-OR-TREAT" and get candy! It was lots of fun!!
Then, on my birthday, after everyone got home from work, I opened a bunch of gifts. I got a new Cars t.v., new Cars bedsheets, a remote control car, a fish tank, books, movies and a whole bunch more! THEN we went to Chuck-E-Cheese! It was SO much fun! We got pizza and played games and I got to run and run and run! When we got home I was SOOO tired I took a quick bath and went to sleep!
On Saturday, November 1st I had a little birthday party. I had some friends come over and some family. Mommy and Daddy got me a Cars bounce house and a cotton candy maker! I bounced ALL DAY LONG!! I was exhausted at the end of the night but it was worth every jump!!
Mommy will try to keep up with this and post pictures and stories a little more often! Until then, Peace, Love and Music!
8/13/08 - Sorry it has been so long since we have updated my website! Things are going very well!! I am so big now! Of course I will not stand still long enough for Mommy to see how tall I am but she says I am up to her hip and when I go to Grandma & Grandpa Poole's house, I get on the scale and I am 38 1/2 lbs. I know my ABC's and I count to 11. I know that "green means go, red means stop and yellow means slow" I know the stop sign and we also have yellow signs that say "speed hump" and then we go over BIG bumps!! It is fun! I am learning new things everyday and I am talking so much! Mommy is going to try to figure out how to put video on my website because I am learning my entire name "Vincent Michael De Tomasso" everyone laughs when I say it because it is just so cute. At least that is what Mommy says!! Well, I promise to update more often but take care for now! Much love!!!
5/21/08 - I just wanted to tell everyone that Daddy's band, Phat Munky, was in a battle of the bands last week and they won!! No one was too surprised because they are awesome and we expected them to win. Now, they are in the semi-finals on Mommy's birthday, May 23rd, and if they win that they go on to compete for $10,000 on June 6th. They could use that for recording the demo in a studio and new equiptment and a trailer for when they are ready to go on tour!! We are SO, SO proud of Daddy and the guys in the band!! Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!! Everything is great with me! I am doing great in school... I am so smart and learning every day!! I will keep everyone informed with what is going on in our lives!! Peace and love!!
4/20/08 - Hey, hey, hey! So Mommy got excited about my new haircut and posted those pictures before she posted Easter pictures with my long hair. But that's ok!! I have been very sick all week. I have not been to school at all this week and I am still very stuffy and I have a pretty bad cough. But everyone gives me so much love that I am feeling better every day! I am such a big boy!! I am 38 1/4" and I weigh 36 lbs. I come up to Mommy's hip. Pretty soon I will be taller than Mommy AND Daddy! That's all for now but I will keep you updated!
4/6/08 - Today Mommy and Daddy took me to get my haircut. It was really long and I was always hot and sweaty so it was time. We cut it all off and we will let it grow again but for now it needs to be short. I am WAY too active! Everything else is going very well.
3/18/08 - Sorry it has been so long since my last update. Things have been busy! I am used to school now. I like it. Sometimes I am a little rough with the kids on the playground but I will learn what to do and everything will be great. I can count to 11, I know my ABC's and I bring home great art work! I talk up a storm and I still never sit down!! I promise I will update more often! Take care! XOXO
2/4/08 - I started school today and I don't like it one bit! It is fun sometimes but now I have to listen to people and follow directions. I can't do what I want when I want. Mommy and Daddy say I will get used to this and it will become the new routine... not if I can help it! Mommy will try to post some new pics soon. But I did go to the doctor and I am in the 98th % for height and weight. I weigh 34 and 1/2 pounds and I am just about 37 inches... watch out Daddy!! Anyway, everything is good other than school and I hope to see everyone sooner or later!
12/19/07 - WE SAW SANTA!! Mommy, Daddy and Grandma P. took me to see Santa! When we got there Santa had just stepped away to eat some dinner... Santa gets hungry too! We had to wait an hour and mommy was nervous because I am not so good at "waiting" yet. So daddy went to the candy store and bought me some candy and I was in the line talking with the children around me. I was such a very good boy! And you know what else... last night people brought their doggies to take pictures with Santa! It was so silly seeing doggies in Santa jackets!! Well, then Santa came out and sat in his big chair and the first 2 people had doggies so their pictures were fast! Then the little boy in front of me went and
I was next!! I couldn't wait! When they said it was my turn daddy walked me to Santa and sat me on his lap and brushed my hair and then stepped back. I looked up and smiled because I knew that in a few more days he would be putting presents under my tree! So I took my pictures with Santa and while mommy and daddy were deciding what pictures they wanted, Santa asked me "What do you want for Christmas?" and I told him "BIG TOYS!!!" He chuckled and then it was time for me to let the next little boy see Santa. It was a great night and I hope Santa really does bring me some big toys!!
11/9/07 - Mommy is very excited for me to share this story. My very first word was "Ma ma" so naturally, Mommy was happy about that. And then I started calling her "Ma" or 'Mom" She really wanted my to call her "Mommy" Well, I finally gave in and this week I started calling her "Mommy" She is so happy and says it makes her heart melt every time I say it... whatever that means.
11/5/07 - This evening we went to the Florida Panthers hockey game because my Daddy and his band were playing for the pre-game show. I fell asleep in the car on the drive there so I was a little confused when I woke up because I didn't know why Daddy was on a stage singing. But after a little while I LOVED hearing and watching my daddy sing and I was dancing like a wild man! It was so much fun and on the drive home I was singing into my microphone "Daddy sing" over and over. Maybe one day I will be a great singer like my Daddy!
10/30/07 - It's my 2nd birthday!! Mommy and Aunt Kacie took me to get my picture taken. I was not happy about that! The girls who work there were very nice and they were trying to get me to sit down and smile. But I just wanted to run and play. So Mommy and Aunt Kacie took me to the toy section and we played with some stuff and I ran around the entire store stopping to say hi to some people. Then after a little while Mommy and Aunt Kacie asked me if I was ready to take "awesome pictures" and they said I could have some candy corn! I still didn't sit and fully cooperate... who has time for that?! But, as you can see, we got a few good ones!
Then we joined Grandma P. for some pizza but I was ready for a nap!! So we ate our pizza quickly and we went home. I took a nap while Mommy cleaned stuff up. Then I woke up and we played a bunch. When Grandma and Grandpa P. and my Daddy got home from work, I opened presents. I got so many things! For example: books, dvd's, cd's, a toy airplane, a shrek bowling set, a remote control tractor, a t-ball game, a pet (toy) monkey and probably more that I can not think of. Then for dinner we had some of my favorite things - hot dogs and Mac-n-cheese! Then I had a cup cake! It was a wonderful birthday! Thank you to everyone who called and wished me a Happy Birthday! I love you all!!!
10/28/07 - Mommy and Daddy took me to Lion Country Safari for my birthday. It was so great! The people who joined us were Grandma and Grandpa P., Grandma and Grandpa D., Aunt Kacie, Amber, Nikki, Nicole, Danny and Aunt Donna. We drove in a van and saw Lions, Rhinos, Monkies, Elephants, Zebras, Giraffe's and many more. It was really neat! Then we went inside and had lunch. I ate some yummy pizza then had my Go Diego Go birthday cake and some icecream! Then we went to the petting zoo and pet the goats and then we walked around and saw some more animals. THEN we went to feed the giraffe. As you can see in the pictures - it was awesome! They really don't like it that much when you pet them but they loooove to eat! I slept the whole way home because I was really tired! Then when we got there I was allowed to open a few presents. It was a great day and I want to say thank you to those who joined us.
9/26/07 - You would not believe everything I am doing and saying now. I will give you a few examples but to get the full effect you should come by and visit me! When you come over I will shake your hand and say "How ya doin'?" I am also counting to 10 with a little help. I can repeat every letter of the alphabet. I love reading my books still and Mommy tells me that reading will make me so smart! I love to dance and I have some really good moves! Give Mommy and Daddy a call and stop by to visit! 8/6/07 - Last night was a very exciting night for me and my family. After I ate dinner I was very sleepy and it was time for my bath. So Mommy and I went into my bathroom, like normal, and Mommy said to me "Do you want to go pee pee on the potty?" I am not exactly sure what this is but I remember seeing Daddy pee pee in the potty, so I figured I would try it since I want to be just like my Daddy. So Mommy sits me on the potty and she says "Go on - go pee pee" so I pushed my belly and I went pee pee in the potty! And Mommy got SO excited and she yelled out and Daddy came running in and Grandma P. and Amber. And every time I made a little pee pee in the potty everyone would yell and clap and cheer. I like that and I think I will do this "pee pee in the potty" thing a lot more!
7/30/07 - Nothing crazy is going on. I am 21 months old today. Mommy keeps saying she can't believe how big I am. I am trying to talk like the adults do. I get pretty upset when I can't communicate but I am working on it with the help from Mommy and Daddy! Keep checking back for updates and pictures! XOXO
