2/13/11 - Seriously? Yup that is Jesse's newest addition to his vocabulary. It is adorable to hear him say it. He has been talking a lot more in the past month. Even day by day he seems to be picking up more words and is using sentences. Hurray!
2/9/11 - Yikes, the eye doctor in town was partially right. Jesse is far sighted and the eye crossing is due to the degree of farsightedness. We went to the pediatric opthamologist today. 1/30/10 - Glasses?? We went to the eye doctor in Columbus and were told that Jesse would need glasses. He is farsighted with a +5.0 in both eyes. He really did not like the drops to dialate his eyes and was not very cooperative. He wanted nothing to do with picking out frames either. Needless to say the appointment did...
11/22/10 - You have to be careful what you ask a 2 year old. We asked Jesse if he was going to write a letter to Santa. He looks at us and says "E". Poor kid couldn't understand what we thought was so funny.
11/14/10 - We were talking about Christmas cookies and we asked Jesse if he was going to leave some out for Santa this year. He said "Nope. Ham." Hmm, have to figure something out before Christmas Eve.
10/31/10 - Jesse was the cutest giraffe ever for Halloween this year. He had fun going to Grandma & Grandpa's and Nana & Papa's house for trick-or-treating.

8/7/10 - We took Jesse to Stapps Circle S Ranch in Greensburg to see the tiger cubs Rocky and Jasmin. This was the last week they would be able to be in contact with the public, they are now to old according to government guidelines. He liked feeding the buffalo an ear of corn. He was intrigued by the tigers but wouldn't touch one...
7/21/10 - Poor Jesse. He is miserable. We took him to the doctor since he has a fever and blisters in his mouth and throat. He has Hand. Foot, and Mouth. Apparently it is going around an a lot of kids in town have it. We are hoping that it doesn't last long.
7/14/10 - To the zoo again. :) This time we went with Heather and Jonathan, Amy and Addison, and Laura and Nate. It was awfully hot. The thermometer on the stroller said 105 so we decided to head back to the car and go get some lunch in the air conditioning.
6/7/10 - We took the day off and went to the Indianapolis Zoo. It was Jonathan's first trip there. Jesse really liked the giraffes this time.
6/2/10 - He is on a roll with the b words. First it was "ball". He has added "bowl", "boat", and "bubbles". Also if he wants a flower or wants you to draw a flower he will sniff since he has to smell every flower he sees.

05/8/10 - We took Jesse up to Cookie Cutters in Greenwood to get his hair cut. We were hoping that there would be enough kid oriented things to keep him entertained. Well, we were wrong. 04/28/10 - Jesse has been coming to the library for story time on Wednesdays. While he is here he takes the tour and visits with everyone. This week he found out he can reach the knobs on the handles to move the shelves in the talking books department. He was really excited and had a great time driving them.
03/30/10 - Jesse is doing great. He had his 18 month checkup today. He really, really didn't like the doctors office but we survived and he only had to have 1 shot today.
03/27/10 - We took Jesse and Jonathan to have Easter pictures taken at A Thosand Words Portraits in Greenwood. The photographers are really nice. Jesse really wasn't sure about the bunny though.

02/12/10 - Jesse finally decided that walking was ok. He has been cruising for monthes and walks on his knees all the time but after practicing all week he finally decided to take some real steps on his own. Woohoo. He is really proud of himself about it too.

1/8/10 - Jesse's vocabulary is expanding. Last night he learned how to say the word Yes. He seemed quite pleased with himself. He has also learned "Santa" and recognizes him on everything, albeit about two weeks late :-) He says "No" occasioanly but ony "No nigh nigh" not by itself.

1/2/10 - We just found out that thanks to the JVC Holiday Sweepstakes Jesse's picture was on the JVC screen in Times Square between 12:30 and 1pm on New Years Eve. Pretty neat.
12/30/09 - We survived Jesse's 15 month checkup. He was really not happy. He started crying when the nurse measured him and then it just got worse when the doctor came in. He only had to have 2 shots this time. He is now 30 1/2" inches long and weighs approx 20 lbs 12 oz. He was squirming so much it was hard to te...
